Head Golf Professional
Adam is our Head Professional and he grew up in Southern and Central Ohio before relocating to the Ft. Myers area in 2020.
Adam has a long history associated with the game of golf. At the age of 12, he started as a caddie at Moraine Country Club, where he received the Evans Scholarship. It was this experience that provided the foundation for his love of the game as well as the business associated with golf.
While attending college, and for 10 years after, Adam caddied at Muirfield Village Golf Club as well as New Albany Country Club. During this time, Adam held a full-time job outside of the golf industry but felt drawn back to the game that had become his passion at a young age. And so, in 2011, he decided to begin his schooling to become a Class A PGA Professional. He was elected into membership in October of 2017.
Adam developed a passion for instruction, while working at Hickory Hills Golf Club, and he began formulating an extensive Junior Program to further develop the skills of the Junior golfers at HHGC. Moving onto Wedgewood Golf and Country Club in 2019, Adam used this program to build Wedgewood’s Junior Program into one of the top programs in the area. Adam has a passion for teaching the game and has used his previous years of experience to develop a method that translates to all age groups.
Adam and his family moved to Cape Coral in November of 202o. Upon arriving in SWFL, Adam joined The Golf Club at Crown Colony as the First Assistant/Lead Merchandiser and was at Crown Colony until September of 2024 when he joined Lexington Country Club as the Head Professional and Merchandise Director.
Adam has been married for 17 years to his wife Kara and they have two children, daughter Analeise and his son Calvin. In his free time, he enjoys reading, fishing and spending time at the beach with his family.
Whether in the golf shop, on the lesson tee or on the course, Adam conveys a lifelong passion for the game of golf.
